I should (Barring something Wildwoman wants me to do) get through rounds 4 and 5 today.
Then I will hear/see something on TV (combine) today that some GM says (that is obviously a smoke screen) that will cause me to rethink things and change it all up again.
Love that pooh.
On to the mock....
You obviously like Bennett. I actually like the pick as you have the Vikes taking him at a point in the draft lower than projected.
True Value pick IMHO. Truth of the matter is, there are 3 game changer TE's in this draft that will go much later than projected.
I currently have the 1rst one going to the Bengals at 47 Cincinnati Bengals Fred Davis, TE.
I would think we can get a pretty good TE at a lower pick than our 2nd and still get a good guy at a position of not much need.
I don't like the pick of Desean Jackson.
You should have seen him slip in the value boards after he wieghed in yesterday.
Way to small and way to light to take a risk on a PR that soon.
Again, I am skewed a bit on WR's as I just don't likem small.
I know everyone will bring up a couple of guys (Smith Carolina) to try to prove me wrong.
Again to high of a risk in the first round IMHO.
FS Jonathan Hefney.
Way to small to play S IMHO.
FS Michael Grant.
Another guy a bit small.
Converted to CB in college because of a torn ACL. Another bad indicator.
Look, I have been on the S soapbox since the end of the season.
Any help at S will be welcome but I believe this draft is really weak after you get past the top 3.
If we are gonna draft a S and expect him to be a future replacement for Sharp and give us reps this year, it better be in the first round.
Love the pick of Chris Ellis.
I don't follow college ball much as I don't get to see the gophers much but I have started to watch a bit more of VT sports after the shootings.
This guy is gonna be a nice pickup and shows how deep DE is in this draft.
There are some guys in the 3rd round like Ellis that can/will provide some pretty decent backup reps right away next year.
Thats why I think, even though we need a DE, you wait and take one in the 2nd or 3rd and use your 1rst to land one of the top 3 S.
No need to draft anyone on the OL.
We have some young guys already on the roster that can provide some depth behind our starters.
Additionally they can always bring in a few Undrafted FA's to use as practice fodder for training camp.
Not sure why everyone wants to draft a C.
Don't forget Dan Mozes(Moses) is gonna be healthy this year and will be the backup to Birk.
Overall I like the positions you take, (with a couple of exceptions) just don't agree with were you take them at.
Edit:
Forgot to ask the question.
Do you really pick for every team in all 7 rounds?
I would love to see it if you do.
I try to get it done every year and for some reason am lagging a bit this year.
Only through the 3rd round.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I like to sit down during the combine and watch some of it and track what is said about each of the players with all 7 rounds in front of me.
Mock away my friend.

We will be drafting Blake Owen.Currently an embryo from Maryland who will eventually attend the U in Miami and lead them to 2 consecutive national championships and go undefeated through the college playoffs. (Yes, they are coming)
