Tyler Thigpen has agreed to terms on a three year deal with Buffalo. He's reuniting with Chan Gailey, his former OC in Kansas City.

Clayton actually said we talked to his agent between Orton and going after Dnabb.

I wonder if that means our FO pukes liked Tyler over Dnabb.

That is what I heard. They were going after Thigpen and McNugget was second fiddle and his ass( McChunky's" got sore when he heard about it.

Thigpen would have been a poor choice in so many ways.

I don't know about anyone else here, but when I think of good veteran QB's that can come in here, start for a year & be a great role model & mentor for Ponder to draw from, Thigpen doesn't even come to mind.

No, but if they went with Ponder as the starter and had Thigpen as a reserve we would have been no worse off at backup than we were for the past several years with Jackson. Plus then we wouldn't have gotten McChunky which would have been worth it right there.
