    Re: Trent Green

Last year before he went to Miami I thought he would be a good pickup if he had indeed recovered from his head injury but after watching him in Miami it was pretty clear he still was not 100%. With the trouble our QB's have had staying off the injured list due to our line I don't think we would be a good fit for him.

This seems like a bad idea.
The Rams are enabling him to take a really stupid risk with his long-term mental health.
    For what?
So he can make a few bucks and so that they feel a little better about their chances if Bulger goes down?

Oh well, I guess he can make his own bad decisions.
He's going to have to be the one to live with them.
He should learn how to get over not playing football though.
Sooner or later, he's not going to have a choice.
When the age of the Vikings came to a close, they must have sensed it. Probably, they gathered together one evening, slapped each other on the back and said, "Hey, good job." - Jack Handey [Deep Thoughts]

wow, wayyy too much money..i understand the year they won the superbowl, green was actually playing better than warner did when he stepped in, but that was in 1999..i get bringing him in as a backup, but theyre paying him like a starter
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.
