Thread: training camp notes 7/28

As reported last night, second round pick WR Sidney Rice signed a four year deal, ending his one day hold out. As expected, Rice made his first appearance at Vikings training camp Saturday morning.

- Tarvaris Jackson is having trouble hitting WRs on fade routes. It's a pass that takes a lot of touch. Jackson throws darts over the middle, and for the most part he's been extremely accurate so far in camp, but he does have to work on his fade passes.

Thats ok Tjack keep your head up man, fade routes are hard to hit. good thing he is accurate though, as alot says he have a strong arm but no accuracy

Greg Blue hits hard even when he isn't trying to. A couple times he slowed up and still jolted his target. With Mike Doss and Tank Williams firmly entrenched on the second team defense at the moment, Greg Blue is in a dog fight for a roster spot.

Well, T-jack won't be throwing fade 30 times in a game, so it isn't a major issue. But still, T-Jack gotta learn to add that extra touch to his pass. Do your best T-Jack!

It's good to see they are already making a mark, well, in practice anyway.

They forgot to mention the pass over the middle was over thrown & picked off.
