Running back Adrian Peterson was on the field for the morning practice Tuesday but did not take part. Peterson suffered a hip pointer last week, and coach Brad Childress said the team doesn’t want to push the rookie....

It's going to be nice to have James off the PUP list, and out on the field making our pass rush better.

Edwards has made quite the impression in camp.
I wash we would have had him at right and Udeze at left last year when James was out for the season.
With all the talent we have at end, how strong of a rotation do you guys think we will see on the DL this year?Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

James will probably get hurt again, but I think Edwards could step in and do a great job for us. We really need our ends to stay healthy this season!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

With the depth we have now at DE, James almost seems like the odd man out.. Edwards has been stepping it up, and now Robison is making some noise as well.. I see them taking it easy with James, and Edwards being our starter to enter the season..

I totally agree. And I think Edwards is BETTER!I see them taking it easy with James, and Edwards being our starter to enter the season..
From Vikings Scout:
Edwards has been a model teammate and has both local and national media pointing to him as being a sleeper breakout star of 2007. With Erasmus James still on the mend, Edwards has his chance to make an impact that will leave his imprint on the Vikings defense. With the need for a better pass rush, Edwards looks to be the best shot at providing that and no longer allowing quarterbacks to pick apart the Cover-2 because they are afforded so much time to wait for routes to develop.Kentucky Vikes Fan
