It currently is, but there is talk that after this years camp it will move to South Dakota.

well with any luck, the deal the link speaks about will go thru and camp wont leave the state. There are a number of teams (or atleast there use to be) that would hold their training camp in other states. I think they feel they are expanding their fan base.

that is right. What kind of area is the camp held in? A college or what

Yes it is held in a college. When I was a kid it was Mankato State College now I believe (and someone please correct me if I am worng on this) it is Minnesota State University at Mankato. It's a couple of hours south of the Twin Cities.

thanks for the answer. When is it held? because i'm going to USA for a YEAR in July. I donÃ‚Â´t know where but i hope is near minnesota so i can go to the Metrodome and see live football, not just late i the night on my computer/TV

I am not sure of the exact dates but NFL training camps usually open in mid-July.

I hope you make it. It's a great opportunity to see all of your favorite Vikings up close.
