    Cutler is overrated IMO.

I say we hold off on a QB and let Brad run the team. Gives us some breathing room.
    Ditto.

Drafting a high 1st round QB is a HUGE gamble.

If were gonna gamble, get the future hall-of-famer BUSH.

Now that's a gamble worth taking.

i dont really think brads our guy. The games he won last year was because of our D. that was proven in that giants game

Our ST's unit had something to do with that win over the Giants. Remember Koren Robinson, and Mewelde Moore both had TD's on ST's..

I agree Ultra.. I think Cutler is a lil overhyped.. Just because he is the only steller QB working at the combine and stuff..

I want Vince to fall to the 17th pick..

Personally I think he will be a stud.. And Having Brad develop him and his mechanics can only help.

Atleast he will be a Vick type QB.. Run mostly.. But I think he will throw better then Vick anyway

I do not think that Vince would be a good fit for a team that is going to run the west coast offense, just my opinion.

I think he could do good in a WCO.. With the little short slants and all that..

Vince is so overhyped. Imagine if he had had a good game in the championship but not great and USC had won. Everyone would be saying Matt Leinart this Matt Leinart that.

He has a good year and one great game and everyone thinks he is god's gift to mankind.

He actually had a great career.. Not just 1 year and a great championship game..

He has rushed for 1 G the last 2 years.. Not to mention his throwing ability..

I could care less about mechanics as long as it gets the job done..

Didn't Cosar have an awkward style?

They overhype that technical points too much now, like this is a science.
They didn't call it mechanics back then, it was just called SIDEARM?

    Yah exactly..

If it works who cares how they throw?

He got the job done in college.. Why wouldn't his throwing style work in the NFL?

He is tall.. He has a better chance at sidearming it then shorter QBs

I would be stoaked to get him if we could

Philip Rivers threw sidearm just to let you know.

I want a QB who will actually fit in the offense. I don't want the ATL version of the WCO where the QB drops back and runs.

If Cutler is overhyped...Vince is the poster boy for overhyped.

I just do not not like drafting college QB's...too risky.
NEWSFLASH: ALL pro QBs were once college QBs!!!

If we only take QBs in trades from other teams, we will most likely end up paying premium prices for them...with NO guarantee that those QBs will play well for us either...it's a crapshoot which ever way you go...you just have to rely on your scouting department to find the best fit. Also remember, Fran was drafted by the Vikes in their inaugural season...and look at what he did over his career.
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Vikings should draft a no-name QB in 3rd/4th round and hopefully he will turn into Tom Brady in couple yrs
