    Trade Winds Blowing (for Vikes)?

    http://min.scout.com/2/718691.html
The chatter about the Vikings going after a veteran quarterback via the trade market is nothing new for the organization. In fact, the team has many of its greatest seasons as a result of going out shopping for a QB rather than grooming one from NFL infancy.

Some good history in this article

Donovan will be an Eagle next year

It would have been fun to see him here though for some stability!

    McNabb......

    Eagles
    Vikings
    Bears

Those are the teams that are rumored for him to be at.

    Situation:
He says he isn't getting the talent put around him to succeed in Philly.
Well, what does MN and Chi have that Philly doesn't.

MN - AD, Wade and Rice
Chi - Muhammed, Berrian(?) and Benson/Peterson
    Phi - Westbrook, Curtis, Brown

Does he want a change of scenery that bad?
Is he tired of Jeff Laurie and Andy Reid?

I don't think that McNabb is washed up, he can play ball.

Easiest solution is if the Eagles would go after Fitz or Walker, or maybe even Chad Johnson.

Or we take McNabb away and make it easier to attract a talented WR in FA.

It isn't as easy as I reduced it to, but I hope it makes sense to all.

    Agreed

I never understood why people call him washed up

He just doesn't scramble as much.. He can still throw with the best of them though

For sure, I wish people would quit saying that

He was playing amazing last year.. MVP calibur season until he got hurt

And came back strong this year.. Played very well and didn't get hurt

He has a few years ahead of him.. Sadly in an Eagles uniform though

people are just impatient... it usually takes one year to come back from an injury like he had and another year to be completely healthy and get confidence back in the knee...

If you look at the last 5 games or so.. he was running alot.. that one game he had like a 40+ yard run but fumbled... still good mobility tho......
