Trade possibility
I was just thinking about trading Troy Williamson and a 2nd round or 3rd round pick to the 49ers for their #6 pick. I just don't think Williamson will fit the WC offense because he doesn't run good routes. The 49ers have no good WR and I don't think Vernon Davis is what they are looking for. The Vikings are then guaranteed one of these players at 6-
RB Reggie Bush {USC}
QB Matt Lienart {USC}
QB Jay Cutler {Vanderbilt}
OT D’Brickshaw Ferguson {Virginia}
LB A.J Hawk {Ohio State}
TE Vernon Davis {Maryland}
QB Vince Young {Texas}
DE Mario Williams {NC State}

WTF are you talking about the WCO is best suited for guys like Williamson who can run slants and short routes, get the ball in their hands and make plays with the run after catch.I was just thinking about trading Troy Williamson and a 2nd round or 3rd round pick to the 49ers for their #6 pick. As far as your trade it is not even realistic because it would cost way more than that to move up that far."Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn t work hard."

Re: Trade possibility
Well, Chad Jackson is the premier wideout this year but I doubt they would take him. I'm betting on Chad Jackson, a tight end who would be a good receiver also.
By the way, the latest FOX Mock Draft has the Vikings taking Chad Jackson as their first round pick. A wide receiver as first pick for the Vikes? I wonder what that prognastigator is smoking?Kentucky Vikes Fan

Re: Trade possibility
Why do we want to trade Troy Williamson? Because he had one season where he didn't blow up the league, despite his lofty draft position? Because he didn't adapt to the NFL after ONLY ONE SEASON? Bloody hell.. People need to learn:
THERE WILL NOT BE ANOTHER RECEIVER WHO CAN BLOW UP THE LEAGUE IN THEIR FIRST YEAR LIKE RANDY DID FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME!
We need to be patient with our draft picks. You can't just fall for the hype when a player is coming out of college and then bad-mouth him and think up trade scenarios for him when he doesn't meet your impossible expectations in his first season in the NFL!

Re: Trade possibility
You should think that out first, before making a thread on it. Any team that made that trade would be STUPID..

Re: Trade possibility
If there isn't a good QB at our 1st pick and Sims is gone we could go Chad Jackson.. So we would get Abdul Hodge and Omar Jacobs or Croyle in the 2nd with our 2 picks.. So that guess makes some sence
And it would depend if Burly leaves too..
K-rob
T-willy
T-tay
C-Jack
That would be pretty sweet.. Jackson is gonna be a star
