We should trade if we can get a playmaker.
    This year:

    AD: 5.6
    CT: 5.4
    MM: 5.7

Shit, Memos got the highest YPC....lets start him next year.

    Last year:

CT: 4.0 - Not impressive.....fairly mediocre for a lone starter.
    Pinner: 4.4
Memo: 5.5 - Its not that hard to have a 5 ypc average when your handed the ball only when its 3rd and long.
    Fason: 5.5

    CT career: 4.4
    Memo: 4.9

But Memo has gotten 246 carries while Taylor has gotten 833.

Memo isn't the pure RB CT is....he is more versatile then Taylor but he isn't as good a RB. Either of them are only average probably when a lone starter. But Taylor is an amazing backup to have to spell Adrian when he is tired or hurt. I would much rather have him starting back there then Memo if Adrian got hurt for a while.

We aren't going to probably trade CT for a playmaker without packaging draft picks and losing him plus the draft picks probably wouldn't be worth it.

    Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!

Well in that case. LaDainian Tomlinson must suck because his ypc is the worst on his team for the last two years including his MVP year where Michael Turner and Rivers had a better ypc average then Tomlinson.
what? LT lead the team this year, in 06 he wasn't
    last either, :

Turner is a beast, I would trade CT for him in a second.

    i don't think it's gonna matter anyway...

with all the good college running backs coming out in the draft this year, i doubt we could even get anything good for CT..... we should keep him... his value isnt' as high.. plus with Mike Turner being a free agent, i don't see anyone trading when they can just pay turner and be happy...

I hear what you are saying but Michael Turner can only go to one team.
Many teams have a need at RB and they want a proven RB

In theory it sounds good to trade him for something of great value that would help our team, a WR, draft picks, whatnot. Unfortunately you just don't get much on the trading block for a RB unless he's an absolute stud, or phenom, and they don't get traded
Fact is RB is the easiest position to get, replace, plug and play with, that's why we wouldn't get much for Chester.
Just stick with the 2 back system for another year, and then before 09 when he's in the last year of his contract just get the best deal you can for him
You can't be let down if you don't expect the world

I can't believe this thread is still going...

    Keep the two back set.
A RB is only one big hit away froma season ending injury...

The RandyMossCrotchSniffAThon is 190 pages or so - three years after he was traded, and you're amazed this one is at 9 pages?

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

That thread is still going because any iota of news about Moss gets merged into it.
It probably covers 50 different real topics.
This thread is about one topic.
    One asinine, misguided topic.

In total agreement on that one.
Chester has made no noise about being unhappy with playing time, so that's the kicker on this notion, to me.
