Trade for Boldin???

Why don't we trade our first round pick, Chester Taylor for E.James and Boldin.
I would do that...even though CT > EJ by ALOT.
But EJ can still run hard and catch out of the backfield...

We need a freaking WR and there is nothing left out there.
Thinking outside the box.

decent... however the reason Edge wanted out of ARI was because he's not a pass blocker, he's a runner... Chester Taylors main role on our team is 3rd down back (pass blocker/receiver) thats not edge's strong point.

otherwise i'd love to have Boldin on the team

nice thought, but edge is in the last year in his contract at $5mill.. no way a team pays him that... besides, we can get a cheaper alternative in the draft...

but since Birk signed with baltimore we're fucked!!!

Doesn't Edge have a huge contract which is the reason we didnt get him in the first place?

Like it or not, we have nothing (except maybe AD) that would warrant the Cards interest in trading arguably the best up and coming WR in the league....

They might be forced into trading him if they know they can't resign him. We have a first this year and next year. Not optimisitic but stranger things have happened. Hell we got Jared Allen, I bet nobody thought we had anything worth his services either.
