Holy crap! That trade would be crazy.

    1. Leinart
    2. Young
    3. Culpepper

That is all I care about. It would be possible I think to get one of the top 2 qbs if we packaged our first rounder with Daunte (which is probably too much in my opinion). I don't know much about Rivers, nor have I ever seen him play a whole game so it is hard to say. If we can't get a top 3 draft pick for Daunte, then I probably wouldn't want him traded.

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

    For who???

I was just suggesting that if the price is right, we could move up.

Trades like that just don't happen in the NFL. I just don't see a team like NO or Tenn trading away Leinart or Vince Young, for an injured starting QB. I mean Daunte may not be ready or 100% until late in the season. And he didn't exaclty look great when healthy last season either. Then throw in the fact that he wants a new contract and more money.

And we won't trade away anything even remotely close to that, for a QB. Especially when we could trade Daunte for say a 2nd rounder and get a Schaub or Rivers for a 1st or 2nd round pick.

How about that Texas A&M guy.. can't remember the name... He pretty much owned up the senior bowl. He could be a late second rounder.

Re: Top Quarterbacks of the Future

brad smith of missouri with a late draft pick could always be an option..this guy is equally as fast as vick and throws the ball a hell of a lot better than him..his career passer rating was 114, and he never fumbled once in 4 years starting, he also rushed for over 1300 yards twice, that shows how well he holds onto the ball..he is surely worth a look if we want to go in that direction with a scrambling qb..i honestly think trading for garrard or carr would be the best option, they are both amazing talents and have shown some flashes of brilliance..the thing that has made ppl dislike carr is the fact that hes been playing behind probably the worst offensive line ever in the history of the league..on the vikes he would have a hell of a lot more success
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

Well if that happens, put your $$ on New Orleans to win the Super Bowl in a few years. Think those draft picks and players we traded away had a little something to do with the Cowboys winning three championships in the '90s? I think so!
