Sorry i don't recall anywhere ever seeing bwade get yards after the catch.. he's strictly and catch and tackle type of receiver... and even worse on punt returns...

How dare you mention my name and green/gold in the same sentence. It is not my fanhood I have troubles with, but the mere fact that if I choose to post on this board as much as I did last offseason, I will be having the exact same arguments. That just pisses me off.
Point taken.. no Green and Gold V's in the future.. and I can relate to the frustrations that you have, last offseason I had the same complaints about the Packers.. however the talent of the draft class improved more than I anticipated they would.

I see the Vikings as a solid QB away from being a playoff team that could wreak havoc in the post-season, would they be dominating probably not, but neither are my Packers this year. Solid play with a couple of plays that bounced our way.

Just throwing some flip side objective comments out there.

No I don't see any chance of it happening. I actually don't want it to happen he wants to much money..I bet he signs with the Raiders his hometown team or he gets franchised by the Bears.

Bernard Berrian? Franchised? You do realize he would have a salary of the average of the top 5 players at his position, right?

On a sidenote, Paul Allen (of KFAN) says that he knows of people within the organization who really want Berrian this offseason.

I would not HATE a move for Berrian ... he would definitely stretch the filed and make Rice and Wade much more dangerous ... and give T-Jack someone he could air it out to. Hell ... I just talked myself into really liking a move for Berrian.

Unless the front office has plans to trade for one of the leagues best (Fitz, 85) then i think Berrian would be a good move. Agree with Midgensa about stretching the field and we really a 'Go to Guy' for Tjack, but can Berrian be that guy? thats the question

I doubt that the Bears would franchise Berrian.
    That would be ridiculous.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing him in MN.
Although, I don't think he is the #1 receiver that a lot of PPO'ers are looking for.

He would be a nice addition to the Rice, Wade, Allison group though.

Bears may switch franchise tag from Briggs to Berrian

Chicago Bears general manager Jerry Angelo didn't rule out shifting the franchise tag from one Drew Rosenhaus client, Lance Briggs, to another in Bernard Berrian — an interesting admission because it would cost nearly $8 million, the amount of guaranteed money in the long-term extension offer that Berrian, a wide receiver, swiftly rejected last summer the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
