Who do you think were the BEST Vikings drafted in the 1st round, and who do you rate as the WORST !!

Let's see, as for the WORST, I'd say...

5. Erasmus James
I have him fifth only because he's still with the team and can make a giant turnaround and actually amount to something. But as of now, "NADA"..

4. Gerald Robinson
What a complete waste.. NEVER did anything..

3.D.J. Dozier
The only thing he lived up to was the Penn State RB BUST !!

2.Troy Williamson
NEED I SAY MORE !!!!!!!!!!!

And the best of the worst.....

1. Demitrious Underwood
What did the Vikes get out of him, half a practice ??? What a "nut case" he was !!!

Now for the great ones..

(and these are not saying that one was better than the other, they're all the best the purple has ever had)

5.Adrian Peterson
What can we say about A.D !! Might be the one to FINALLY bring a Super Bowl Championship to the Norsemen..

4. Randy Moss
Regardless of him playing in Oakland and now New England, the FREAK was the man in purple when he was in the Twin Cities. HOF for sure.

3. Carl Eller
Despite his recent troubles, Moose is one of the legendary players for the Vikes. I hope he can turn his personal life around.

2.Randall McDaniel
HOF bound. The best Offensive linemen the Vikings ever had.

1.Alan Page
A true CHAMPION, on the field and off...

I can only hope Saturday we can see the next GREAT Viking come to Minnesota, not another BUST...

I agree with everyone on your list, but I'd like to throw Ron Yary into the mix.


He was one the best OL we've had around these parts.

A top five for the Vikes is tough at this point...
There are many legitimate debates....Ron Yary comes to mind, however, very thoughtful and impressive; thanks.
For the record, I believe the 2007 Draft will go down as a top 2 or 3 of all-time for the Vikes.

;D I like your list especially the worst, but I would have liked to see Big Korey on the best list.

as much respect as Korey deserves, its tough to beat out the all time greats like McDaniel, Eller, Page, Yary and Moss.
I think its really too early for PEterson to be considered as a top 5 player ever.
He defenitally has potential, but you can't call him the best after his rookie season, as much as i love his play.

I only hope he won't be a 1 season wonder.
