Re: Throwing Names At The Wall
haha, I like that article. I think it's fun to sit and speculate. IMO the vikes NEED to make signing Jared Allen (more of a chance than suggs) a huge priority, he is only 25 and is an absolute monster. It says that the Chiefs might franchise him, but if he hits the open market, he should be ours!! Anyways continuing on with the form of the article, if the vikes could get Berrian in, and then get one of the Mc's (McNair or McNabb) They would be a major threat next year. I know it is highly unlikely that all three, or even 1 of those guys will show up on the team, but hey.....it's worth hoping for!

Re: Throwing Names At The Wall
LOL, yea, no thanks.DE Terrell Suggs (BAL) age: 25, 6’3â€Â, 260
2007 stats: 78 tackles, 5 sacks
Suggs’ sacks were down in 2007 from his previous average of 10, but he’s still a better pass rusher than anyone the Vikings have right now. Plus, Suggs was born in Minneapolis, MN. That said, an article in the Baltimore Sun last week said Suggs is looking for Dwight Freeney money. Maybe he’ll be franchise-tagged after all. Either way, he probably won’t be wearing Purple and Gold next season.
Isn't Freeney the highest paid player in the league?

Re: Throwing Names At The Wall
Who do you guys think is the better player....Tank Williams or Mike Doss?
I think we need to keep one of these guys because I don't want to see Dwight Smith back on this team.
Hopefully we sign one of these guys to take Smith's spot.
Gibril Wilson Giants
Eugene Wilson Patriots
Madieu Williams Bengals
Oshimoge Atogwe Rams
I would be happy with any of those guys.

Re: Throwing Names At The Wall
QB Donovan McNabb (PHI) age: 31, 6’2â€Â, 240
2007 stats: 3,324 yds, 19 TDs, 7 INTs, 61.5%, 89.9 rat
Philly connection. Check. Accurate, veteran quarterback. Check. Someone who can lead the Vikings deep into the playoffs. Check.
This is a complete pipe dream, but Donovan McNabb would instantly turn the Vikings into a 11-5 juggernaut. Tarvaris Jackson could sit and watch the master for a year or two, then take over the reign when the Vikings are shooting for a third straight Super Bowl. Or something like that.
