Think we should trade for Al Wilson ???

I think he would be a good pick up and and veteran leadership in the middle of our LB corps.
And some rumors i read earlier said he could be had for a second round pick.
    What you guys think?

You should really provide a link.
I haven't heard anything that says he can be taken for a second.
And the last I heard, the Giants were in the lead, followed by the Lions and the Eagles.

    http://mvn.com/nfl-giants/2007/03/23/update-on-wilson-other-notes/
[T]he Broncos offered Wilson, and the #21 pick to the Giants for DE Justin Tuck, the #20 pick and the Giants 4th Round Pick
That's a helluva lot more than a second rounder...

I heard that he failed a physical with the Giants (something with his neck) just before they signed that dude from the Chiefs, Kavika Mitchell.

I think a 2-second search on "Al Wilson" would have turned up this thread from 4 days ago where the same thing was being discussed:

    No.

EJHenderson, who was recently re-signed to a multi-year deal, could be a great MLB for many years.
Greenway, DThomas, Leber, Davis, Ciuriu, Farwell.

The only LBs that should be signed would be a 6th or 7th rd draft pick, and/ or undrafted LBs, who would all be competing for a ST spot only.

The focus of efforts to improve the team should be on offense; i.e WR, QB, TE.
When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

I don't want him, he held hands with Tom Brady.

He already failed a physical, so he has some back problems, and is likely not worth gambling on.

He's a good player and has been consistent throughout his career.
I don't know the extent of his injury but he's been very durable.
He's played in at least 15 games every year since being in the league.

The problem I see with the Vikings is EJH had not looked good in the MLB position so there is no solid starter there yet.
Greenway is a candidate but that's a question mark too.

Obviously if he were healthy he'd be a good pick up.
Yes I would trade a second rounder for him if that's the case.
However, someone summed it up before.
Would he be a good pick up?
    Yes
    Will we? No.
I wouldn't mind him on the Vikings.
