Nothing sexy about today's picks but like any draft, it's too early to say we didn't do well.
How often is anyone wowed by Sunday picks?
If a couple of these guys make the team I think it should be considered a success.
It appears to me they used today to create competetion at WR, as opposed to finding someone who can step in.
I'm fine with the QB.
If he works out it's a bonus.
If not, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
Also, I really like the kid from Texas.

I love what they did with this draft. They picked up good need players (McCauley, Rice, Robison) then took a chance on some guys from smaller schools, you never know what can happen with those. I really like the Robison pick, had a great combine workout. Nonstop motor, I think he will come in an dcontribute immediatley. I like the Peterson pick as well, I think when you have a chance to take a game changing running back its a smart pick.
Someone ask Atlanta if they would go back and take LT instead of trading for up for Vick.

I loved the way this draft went.
Peterson, if healthy, will prove valuable to us, sidney rice has tons of potential even though I'm weary of gamecock recievers now..
Robison from Texas I think has a chance to be a big player for us as well as the CB we took in the 5th which was a steal for like the 5th best CB rated pre-draft.
Good job vikes, better than last year!
