I was thinking about what this move does to the draft.. and to our future FA

This was the RB signing of the season, thats why we are NOT going to get Edgerrin James or Jamal Lewis - Chester Taylor will be the back we rely on and he will get the majority of the handoffs.

Also i think that what this means to the draft is Ernie Sims!, we are going to draft Ernie Sims if avaible. - This might also mean that we are not going to get Will Witherspoon - not sure.. but i dont think that he will be here next year.

Next on the board is a midle linebacker - if we choose not to let EJ or Harris play it. and Steve Huctinson - im pretty sure that if we make an offer, Seahawks wont match it, cause of the big Alexander contract.
by not getting edge it give us more money to spread out across the team and offer more to get the players we want. all edge needs is one hit and he goes down like pepper anyways why give him all that money.

yeah leber is gonna be a real good back up considering 7 teams wanted to sign him. a lot of teams must be looking for backups huh?

so are you a scout for some team? how do you know taylor won't be any good? the guy could be a star
With the money we got, we could be getting proven superstars. And yes a lot of teams do look for back ups for ur information...not every player on the team is a starter.

yeah look at how crappy baltimores offense was and he put up decent numbers and receiving numbers too. heck 4.0 yards per carry or a lil more on that crappy offense is not a bad thing. it's cool how some people think they know how to scout players huh why don't they just have confindence in the team.

I don't know anything about taylor, but I did post his stats on the other thread. To me he looks and has the numbers of someone that can and will be a solid RB.......Looked to have some hands on himself also for recieving.....

This is when you have to have trust in the scouts and coaches...
