Sydney Rice has mature view of play

This is a good read, check it out.
    I like his attitude

    http://www.startribune.com/510/story/1230354.html

It really got to me today," Rice said. "Too many mistakes, just way too many mistakes on my behalf.

I think earlier in the year, before the draft, I read something about the Vikings might not take him because he got in some troble or had an attitude or something like that.

and then have someone else take him.

anytime someone admits they did something wrong. is basically being a standup individiual whatever I applaud this approach now this guy just wants to play and contribute to me that is something The Vikes havent really had for awhile. This guy deserves recognition for that.

I am glad B Dub is in there letting him know its gonna be all good.

While Rice was focused on where he needs to improve, he has learned that one key to success in the NFL is putting failure behind you. "I was talking to [receiver] Bobby Wade about it, and him being a vet and knowing everything about the whole situation he was just telling me, 'Don't pay attention to those numbers, you've got another day of practice tomorrow,'" Rice said. "I'm just going to try to come out [today] focused on everything I'm supposed to do."
I am betting Sidney Rice is gonna have more TDs then drops.

Hopefully he's not like Troy Williamson last year.

Sidney Rice won’t turn 21 until Sept. 1, so it probably shouldn’t have surprised anyone that there were questions about his maturity when the Vikings selected him in the second round of the NFL draft in April....

    Thanks Singer.

    I like Rice.
At least he is practicing and isn't having his knee scoped.

Second jewel is another great nugget on Wade.

Acting like the Vet leader everyone is clamiring for who isn't retire for the retirement home.

I still contend this group of WR will grow into something special and it won't take years to happen either as some prognosticators prognosticate.
    ;D
