Re: Sudden Impact Positions Where Rookies Contribute Immediately
Now that is some cool stats!!!
Thanks!!
Hmm, just noticed the absence of OL on the list...I guess, its the hardest position to measure statistically, but, it would seem that day 1 picks there usually start in year 1.
Well, RB is at the top as expected, but we're pretty set.
I'd love to see FB upgraded, and I think the mighty Quinn Johnson of LSU could really do that for us...and possibly with our 5th round pick.
I'd even advocate trading our 7s to move up and nab him.
CB could provide impact at nickel for us, but really, I think we're Ok there...especially if we get Winfield to stick around (I'm assuming he will.)
S seems unlikely, and, the value isn't really there in the first anyway, unless Jenkins falls...?
Which, moves us to WR.
Royal and DJack surely impacted their teams as rooks, as WRs and on STs.
I think we could get similar returns (pun intended) from a guy like Harvin.
Next on the list is DT, and adding to end depth to that rotation is really never a bad idea.
But, I think there's a decent chance Udeze can play some there too...if Kennedy comes around, Guion improves, and/or Evens continues to develop, we could be pretty set there.
Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
