Stay at 7
I have a feeling (and yes i decided to make a topic on a feeling)
that either (and this might sound crazy) Gaines Adams or Joe Thomas is going to drop to us.
I think the Detroit Lions are playing games with the rest of the early pick teams and they are going to draft Brady Quinn and if the browns still draft Adrian Peterson, which I think will change evverything the rest of the way

Re: Stay at 7
I hope we stay at 7. 1 of these players will def drop to us. (seeing as there is 7 i say whichever falls to us is [arguably] the BPA)
Jamarcus
Quinn
CJ
Joe Thomas
Adrian Peterson
Gaines Adams
Laron Landry

Re: Stay at 7
I don't see Thomas falling, but i could see Adams falling.
I think one to the big names that is going to be there at 7 is going to be AP.
I think he will be there and it will be very difficult to pass on him.
I really wanted LaRon Landry but i don't see that happening now. I think if Petersen and Adams are there, take em but otherwise trade down."If you need two yards, I'll get you three.
If you need five yards, I'll get you three.

Re: Stay at 7
IF Peterson drops...we gotta take him!
Even with Chester on board, Peterson would give us a potent 1-2 punch at RB that might open up our mediocre passing game somewhat!BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Re: Stay at 7
For various reasons i cant see us passing on Peterson - Wilf will veto it.. - Peterson will bring this face a playmaker and will give the public renewed interrest in his franchise..

Re: Stay at 7
I would be really excited to have Adrian Peterson. It helps to have two stellar running backs when you have a bad passing game. Chester is a proven 1000 yard back while Peterson was an absolute stud in College. Look at what the bears did with a crappy QB, below average WR corps, Good defense, and two good RB's.

Re: Stay at 7
I agree that Petersen would be a great pickup because i don't think there is any doubt that he will be a great pro and a future pro bowler.
With the uncertainty of our passing game we could get Petersend and have that 1-2 punch with Taylor and win all the games on the ground.
If we rotate those two studs after our line has the experience it has and can only get better, we should dominate on Rush Offense like we have been dominating the Rush Defense."If you need two yards, I'll get you three.
If you need five yards, I'll get you three.
