How tough is it to trade up four spots in the NFL draft?
Vikings vice president of player personnel Rick Spielman showed 35 media members Wednesday, providing an inside look at the draft-day trade that allowed the team to select Arkansas State safety Tyrell Johnson in the second round....

It must be nice to do something you truly love. I can see why they spend so much time doing there jobs. The question is, would you trade your personnel life for 100 hour work weeks?
Also it's great to hear Tarvaris is working hard on his fundamentals, footwork is the most important starting point for young QB's. Everything else falls in line after having a solid foundation.

I like where this is going. Maybe we will see Johnson on the field after all.
Childress' presentation contained short highlight tapes of Johnson and the team's other new safety, free agent Madieu Williams, including some footage of each playing cornerback in a nickel defense.
Williams is one of several possible candidates to fill that role with the Vikings. Childress said Johnson will be evaluated as a nickel cornerback as well.

I watched Sharper alot last year.
He has definately lost a step and isn't the center fielder he used to be.
His role will probably be alot more significant than some believe this year.
