    Re: Spending could continue

Besides Arrington, who is apparently over pricing himself, who would the Vikings go after that could make an impact in FA?

    Thanks Lotza!

Whatever the FO decides, I am sure will be the best choice for the team. I am not totally for trading up in the draft to get Cutler, Young, or Leinart. I would rather give up one draft pick and get Matt Schaub, versue several picks to get a rookie coming out of college..

Scheduling a visit with Cutler?....does this mean we are thinking of trading up?. Or could it be just a smoke screen?
Last year everyone they sceduled a visit with they didn't draft. Braylon Edwards, Pac Man Jones, Antrell Rolle there was more but I can't remember the names. They never visited with Troy Willaimson and drafted him.

Yeah, but last year Tice was in charge and he had a hard time keeping secrets from the media, so he decided to use the draft as a smoke screen. I believe the year before that when we got screwed by Baltimore and din't draft Ryan Sims all he talked about was Jimmy Kennedy out of Penn State. Had him in for at least 2 visits.

This year Childress said he was not in trade talks with Culpepper. We all know how that one turned out. Every team does this crap around draft time. I'd be suprised if they took anybody that they scedule a visit with.
