INDIANAPOLIS - Brad Childress doesn't expect new special teams coordinator Brian Murphy to overhaul things, but the Vikings coach does expect to see subtle differences in the unit....

"I don't think there will be wholesales changes schematically. I don't think you'll see us in the Daffy Duck or anything like that punting the ball or rugby punting," he said. "I don't know if you guys will be able to discern the changes, but certainly in some of the drill work and certainly in presentation, preparation and there will be a different tempo."

Thats all you got?
Damn........ST's are gonna suck again this year.

yeah that's a damn shame... 7 return td's on special teams and nothing really to change?... and why does he still have a job right now??

I've been saying that for the past 3 years... it's sad, I know.

Childress also has made clear that he isn't concerned about Murphy putting his own fingerprints on the unit.

of course then Childress can deny having any involvement with ST's... I've seen CSI and the value of fingerprint evidence

We should draft David Buehler as the face of our special teams unit.

He ran like a 4.6 and did 25 bench reps at 6'2" 225. Apparently he can make an open field tackle, and regularly kicks into the endzone.

I say we get him and watch him wreak havoc on special teamers around the league
