    Sidney Rice

Well I was really hopping we got Dwayne Jarrett but I heard Rice was pretty good so I was looking for some catches on Youtube, seems like we made a great choice, watch this video.

It was a good pick for us.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

I think we will forget about Marcus Robinson very soon.
He has the ability to adjust to the ball to make T-Jack look good.
    BIG HOPS!

that vid. showed me that rce has the speed to seperate form defenders, and the ability and awarness to make the tough catch and get a toe down in bonds. the knock on him is that hes not very physical but he seemed physical to me on that vid.

That clip makes this kid look really good.

I have to admit, I haven't seen him play much. I like what I have seen and heard so far.

Now we'll see if he can play like that at NFL speed, against much smarter/faster defenses...

    Hey purple people!
As a Gamecocks fan, permit me to congratulate you on getting Sidney.
We, along with Coach Spurrier, will miss him badly down here.

There are a few things some don't know about Sidney, which is understandable, but ya'll keep it in mind:
+ He played in a talent rich SEC and made some great catches.

+ Although drafted by Holtz, he played for Spurrier for two seasons.

+ He performed well with two QB's with opposite styles.

+ He rarely drops or misses the ball.

+ He is a nice, soft-spoken kid who turns into a monster on the field.

+ He only played 2 years but has yardage other SEC WR's took 3 or 4.

+ His youth can be an asset, hello to NFL weight training and coaching.

+ He is no hotdog, just enthusiastic.
The highlight catches show him pumped.

Here is a good short clip that explains my last assertion.
People watching mistake his outstretched arm as showboating because they don't realize he is contorting his frame to stay inbounds.
And check out the Arky DB who was injured (I hope not seriously) because he turned to watch Sidney's amazing catch and got tangled with a teammate as a result:

I don't know why the page does this to the link. Sorry)

Anyhow, ya'll take good care of our Sidney, please.

    And Go Cocks!

Thanks Axel, a lot of analysts said we should have got Jarrett but I wasn't sure about his attitude, sounds like Rice is a good guy who can hold onto the ball, just what we need.
