One of the big surprises of the 2006 NFL draft was when the Vikings picked Ryan Cook in the second round.

The 6-6, 328-pound offensive lineman from New Mexico hadn't been highly regarded by any of the geniuses who rank players in the draft.

But Cook started the Vikings' final three games at right tackle last season, and now coaches are so impressed with his improvement that he could continue to start at that position.
