Should the Vikings consider trading up with someone like Denver?

Would that put the Vikings in a position to take Derrick Harvey over Phillip Merling and is that desirable?

If we are trading up, I'd want it to be for Ryan Clady or one of the 2 stud DTs.

It depends on who is on the board and what it costs us to get there. IMO moving up 5 in the middle of the first only makes sense if there is a guy that can step in on day 1 and contribute. But if they get a guy they want and it doesn't cost them too much I say go for it.

I say trade down for a high 2nd round pick and pick up another 3rd.
That gives you 2nds and 3rds. We can get Campbell with the high 2nds, Henne with the 2nd of our 2nds. Address the OT, DE and WR in the 3rd rounds and we still have

    a 4th, 5th and 2 6ths.

if we trade i would rather try in get Groves, but i think we would have to stay in the first to get him

    I love the 3rd comment:

If this is truly the case...how about pulling the Vikings' daunted "delayed draw" and allowing our time to expire so we can "move down" in the draft?
