    Should the Vikes trade Culpepper?

With Culpepper's interception and fumble problems, would the Vikes be better off trading him and starting Brad Johnson who did really well last season. Was a lot of Culpepper's success linked to having Randy Moss on his side? These are questions the Vikings front office will have to answer especially since it's been reported that Culpepper is reported as requesting an $8 million pay raise for this year. (A year which he may not even be healthy enough to start out the season coming off of his injury). He's also due a $6 million pay raise around the middle of March.

Should we trade him? No. Give him a chance. You can make the argument that BJ did a lot better, but look what defenses he passed against. And how many times did we stall in the red zone due to the lack of being able to throw or run. DC just came off of a pro-bowl year, if it werent for peyton getting all of the attention. We need to see how well he comes back from the injury first and see what direction we want to go after that. Give him a chance at least. And he said he was willing to move his 6 Mil. back so we can have more space for free agents. People just aren't giving him a chance. Him and SMOOT. Give them a chance first. Things may pan out, if they don't then look in another direction.

DON'T trade him..... he isn't worth anything right now.... wait for him to get healthy and play well again and then decide if you want to get rid of him. THen if you decide to, you can get something in return.

    Thanks Lotza!

I say as soon as a player does not repeat a probowl season they should be fired from the NFL!! Let's see Pep has been playing for 6 years and been to the probowl 3 times, then that's 3 times he hasnt been to Hawaii. He should be flipping burgers somewhere. I hope that was not too much sarcasism, it would be STOOOPID to get rid of two elite players back to back. let's hhope that this new regime can put our rep as the team to make the worst trades in NFL history to rest
    Thanks for the sig Pack93z

Brad Johnson had success against teams who weren't good on '05.He beat the Lions(twice), Packers, Rams, and the Bears who sat their starters. The win against the Giants was because of the 3 returns for td's, not the play of Johnson. IMO, the team needs both to win! A starter and more than capable backup, and I don't mean J.T. O'Sullivan!
    Don't trade D.C. !!!!!!!!!

    Thanks to PPE for sig
