Re: Should Dontarrious be the MLB for us next season?
ONLY IF Lance Briggs is signed to play on the outside
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

If Napo leaves in FA, then I would expect EJ, or Greenway getting the starting nod at MLB.. Nothing against Thomas, but I think he is best suited as a solid backup..

I personally think we should trade down a little in the draft and pick Patrick Willis from Ole Miss - this guy could be the next Ray Lewis!!!

But somehow I don't think he is the kind of MLB Chilly would want. Mainly because he is a downhill kind of LB, and seems to struggle a bit in coverage
Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Re: Should Dontarrious be the MLB for us next season?
one of the Xs went to Auburn, so I've been watching DT for a while now...I was stoked when we picked him, thought he'd be a starter for sure...I kind of agree, that he did look good in the games he started at MLB way back...I think it was his first year, when EJ got hurt?
Personally, I'd like to see Nap back...depth is always good...if EJ or Chad or Ben get hurt, we may see DT forced into action...
He's got the speed and size, he's not an idiot, seems like the rest is up to the coaching!
But, that said, obviously there is something they're seeing in practice that keeps him in the backup role.
Hell, Henderson looked lost at times in the middle...wasn't that EJ who went running right by play after play, sometimes missing the RB by inches in the backfield...almost like his eyes were closed when he ran through the hole...?
He's come a long way!!

I'm not sure I'd want to see him back at Mike...????
And then there is Heath Farwell and Rod Davis (500+ tackles in college at MLB)
I do like our depth there...Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!

I love Dontarrius...can't figure out why he hasn't made more of an impact.
If NapHarris isn't back, I think you go Leber or EJ in the Middle.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As a matter of fact, I do know

Maybe not so much dumb, but had no feel for the spot at all,IMO.Total liability in coverage.Speed to burn, but not much else...I love the kid, but he is too dumb to be starting MLB. Hope he can prove us wrong.
