I am not overly excited about either of these signings.. Both pretty much backups their whole careers, and we need much more help then these two.. Not what I expected from the Vikings with having 30 mil salary cap space, and needing so much help.. Only 2 signings since FA started, and both were on the same day, and most likely won't make a bit of difference for us.. >

A lot of great players start out as backups.

I don't think that Cir dude is gonna be more then depth for us..

But call me crazy but I'm actually pretty happy about the Shaincoe signing.. I've semi-followed him throughout his career.. He is going to be pretty good.. Better then what we have now.. Better then Wiggins.. Just because he should fit out system

Second coming of a Chester Taylor for us

    lol, I love the optimism!
Most back-ups aren't great players, every once in a while you'll find a gem in pile of rubbish.
Right now there is no reason to be excited about this signing, we can hope and pray that he turns out to be a surprise.
but when you sign back-ups to be starters you get teams that go 6-10.
When it s all said and done, you ll have to admit we re number 1!

I understand that, but with the help we need, and the money they have to spend, this was not the way to go.. We need more help on our offense to actually score some dam points once in a while, then on our ST's.. Shiancoe is not guaranteed to start, hell, he may end up getting beat out by Kleinsasser.. That LB won't start, he will be a backup, and ST player.. Makes no sense at all..
