Which is my point. He can do all the talking he wants, but in the end, it means nothing more than womp womp womp, blah blah blah blah.

Re: Shiancoe has been talking to mcNabb
Yes and no. As of now, any talk of McNabb is pure speculation. Teams can't contact players, we don't know if McNabb will be released, or if he'll be traded or what.

Also, the FO is smart enough to not listen to most of what players say. Washington knows if they dump McNabb, someone else will pick him up. Shank talking to him isn't going to drive up the price. McNabb can still play, there will be teams jumping all over him if he hits the open market.
Besides, if they had an issue about things Shank says, the FO would have told him to shut up by now. The past couple years he's always the one on the NFLN talking about the state of the VIkings.[/quote]
No they wouldn't have. They can't talk to the players right now, unless its related to a injury rehab or a rookie coming out of the draft.
And one more time, I hear ya about teams wanting Dnabb. My point is that Shanc's little discussion means nothing in the grand scheme of things.....
Just a bunch of womp womp womp, blah blah blah blah.
As a wise man once said......
The front office pukes have a plan and they don't need Shanc to execute it.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Aren't you the one who is always telling us that our FO "pukes" don't have a clue because they didn't sign everybody and their mother to long term deals already?

And I'm saying they do? No. I'm simply posting a link. Read into it how they are. In fact, if you bothered to read my post, I said Shank talking to him does NOT change how the FO will look at the McNabb situation. If they want him, they'll go after him. If McNabb wants to come here, he will. If not, oh well. And one more time, I hear ya about teams wanting Dnabb. Did I say they had a perfect plan?

You haven't since Childress was fired. I will vouch for that personally.

And what do you think that plan is? Pass on drafting a QB high in hopes of getting McNabb after the draft?

News flash! McNabb isn't a FA & there's no guarantee the Redskins will even trade him, let alone to the Vikings. We aren't the only team looking for a veteran QB.

Except you're wrong! If McNabb says he won't play for the Panthers, they won't trade him there. So if he says he wants to play for Minn, chances are we might be in the running. Kinda like the Houshyahmomma deal. How does a player know he wants to play for a certain organization? Other Vets and the talent on the team.

McNabb has 4 years left, the Skins are well within their rights to trade him to the Panthers, and there's likely nothing McNabb can do about it unless there's something included in his contract. (ala Favre and the Jets)
