The Vikings can afford to add some players through FA, trade, etc.
We have plenty of young talent at WR, adding another rookie is highly unlikely to be the kick in the ass this kick ass offense needs.
I think we need a veteran.
Walker is a veteran with great skill sets.
IF, IF he can stay healthy for 1 or 2 seasons, I see little downside in talking to Denver about a possible trade.
He could be the missing link.
We need playmakers and Walker could be just that.
It's not like we would be braking the bank for Fitz.

I wasn't saying we don't go after him, that just seemed like that is part of another thread.
I didn't want to start that discussion here.
LOL!
No, it still serves us well to talk to Denver.
Still would rather have Fitz, he just seems like he has his head on his shoulders a bit better than J-Walk.

If I had the money to spend, I would buy the Ferarri.
Which one is the Ferarri, J Walk or Fitz?
Or are they both Corvettes selling for Ferarri prices?

The vette vs. ferrari comment is pretty legit.
However, I'd get the Vette since I think the z06 is faster anyways...
Plus for a few grand extra you can put in a supercharger, intercooler, etc.....
Unfortunately the equivalent of that in football would be what we call ROIDS... can't do that.

hes only going WANT the ball on our team for one season before he WANTS to play somewhere elseI think hes worth whatever it would cost. I want a loud mouthed WR that WANTS the ball every down. He could easily fit into TJs go to guy. I think hes one of the better WRs available.
you are right tho, we do need an ego around here to at least establish an identity through our passing game and some swagger on offense..if only we knew that the guy would be happy and would like to stick around more than a year or two, then obviously we should get him, depending on whether or not hes even healthy enough to be a good player in this league againPeople who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

I'd still rather go after a DJ Hackett or Bryant Johnson who are both UFA's. You don't hear any whining, bitching, complaining about their roles on the team, money, ect....
Either one of those two would take pressure of a Rice, and give Jackson another real weapon to throw to, making our offense that much betterYou can't be let down if you don't expect the world
