The guy led the team in picks during training camp and had a pretty good preseason too... but we didn't use him much during the year (which is Childress' style...).
Ummm - once Charles Gordon went down, Benny Sapp was the nickle-back.

Do you actually watch the Vikings games?

    =Z=
Look who came crawling back to the boards.

he started 4 games and saw limited playing time after Gordon went down, yes... pretty much exactly what I said.
as much as teams passed on us, he's playing in nickel situations and he's seeing limited playing time??.. who'd they put at nickel then a line backer??.. lol.... he saw tons of pT!

    Crawling back?
    Please.
I've been working on a project for 15 months and really had to knuckle-down for the last two months as we got ready for Production.

But I've always been a presence.

And being the nickle-back who came in whenever there were 3 WR sets is hardly "...we didn't use him much..."

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

The point was he didn't see any time until Gordon's injury.

    Just messing around.

I was more referring to the fact that he was merely a replacement for Gordon, despite his pretty good preseason. He did play in more games than I remember though... 14 last season.

And if pre-season mattered for shit, Jason Carter would be the Vikings #1 WR.

    LOL....

Funny you should mention that. He's my entry for Greatest WR All Time.

yeah man... he didn't play until Gordon went down.. but he played alot for us last year.. i especially remember bc i almost busted an artery yelling at him after that holding call that gave the lions a 1st and 10 on 3rd down only to have Pepp throw a 80 yarder to Calvin johnson on the very next play!...
