Dolphins Release Four, Sign Kicker

The Miami Dolphins today terminated the contracts of cornerbacks Reggie Howard and Sam Madison (pictured), safety Tebucky Jones and tackle Damion McIntosh. In addition on Wednesday, the team signed kicker Ola Kimrin and allocated him to the NFL Europe League.




Kimrin spent five games with the Washington Redskins in 2004 and hit on all six of his PATs and 6-10 field goal attempts, including a long of 41. He was in training camp with Tennessee last year before being waived by the Titans on August 24. The 6-3, 230-pounder also attended NFL training camps with Denver (2002) and Dallas (2003). In addition, he played with the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europe in both 2001 and 2002. The native of Malmo, Sweden attended the University of Texas-El Paso, where he played for three seasons (1996-98). He was born on February 29, 1972.
