Re: Sam Bradford to enter the NFL Draft.. our savior?

I dont know to much about Bradfords personality but i know that he is a very mature passer and rarely turns the ball over, i dont think he has a chance to fall that far..

I think that the quarterback that will drop will be Matthew Stafford, i know him very well because i fellow Georgia football very close, i can imagine him taking a Quinn/Rodgers fall trough the first round..

What for? As a tight end or a QB? Most draft experts don't believe he's NFL ready yet and it will take a couple of years of him sitting on the bench. Others say he would be NFL ready more as a tight end.
    Why is that?

I don't understand why arguably the best player in the past two years to play college FB (... possibly ever) is considered not ready for the NFL...

If an NFL coach or OC had half a brain, you could rearrange a playbook to play to his strengths... which there are many.

I think he'd be dangerous on a team like Minnesota... with Peterson in the backfield and a QB that could also bust a big run... plus he has a pretty damn good arm, regardless of what some people say.
He's not a pocket passer, defenses in the NFL are too athletic, and too fast sideline to sideline for him to be an effective NFL quarterback with his current style of play.

Attempting to turn him into a pocket passer would take away his strengths and exploit his weaknesses(mentioned by Cojo,) however, as I already mentioned, his strengths do not work in the NFL.

Which is why many people believe he'd have to change positions if he wanted to play on an NFL squad.

Even with a position change I don't think he could play in the NFL.

    What would he be?
Tight End? Too short. Could he block a DE or pick up a blitz? Can he catch the ball? Can he run routes?
Wide Receiver? Too slow. Can he catch the ball? Can he run routes?
    Running Back? Too slow.
Full back? Does he have the power or blocking ability?
Linebacker? Athletically and size-wise it's his best fit IMO. He'd have to learn to play a radically new position to him. A life long QB delivering hits instead of taking them?

To be completely honest, I don't see Tim Tebow being a successful player at any position in the NFL.

Could be although most of the mock drafts I've been seeing have him going in the middle of the first round. I really don't know much about him.

I think Tebow is going to impress a lot of people in the NFL.

    I agree with Mr. Anderson.
I just don't like Tebow, I have a feeling that he won't work out well in the NFL.
He might do ok, but i highly doubt he'll be a star.
He's much like Reggie Bush, a great college player, but can't live up to the hype in the NFL.

This Viking team is built to win NOW!
there is a window of opportunity.
Nothing short of an experienced, reliable and playoff seasoned NFL QB will get it done.

We all saw what happened to Matt Ryan.
Don't get me wrong, I do love the kid and his potential.
    Potential does not win SBs.
Also, you can't expect a Joe Flacco to come around every year.

But, many very average, experienced QBs have pulled it off.
The Vikes cannot mess around here.
They need to go out and get one ASAP!!!
I said it before and I'll say it again, the coaching staff will lose this defenses' confidence if they don't take care of this matter.
I could see that happening late in the wild-card game vs. Philly.
Their effort was clearly wasted by bad coaching decisions which had taken place prior to, and throughout the season.
