Re: Roy Williams on Trading Block?

I would even give them the 7th overall pick for Roy, plus the 2nd rounder in this years draft.

I think we should go after Williams, depending on the price though.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

If this is true, then we would be insane not to try and get him. It would shore up are recievers and shed a better light on Jacksons progress or lack there of. No more blaiming the recievers for bad production in the passing game.

About them not trading to division rival.
Can we have another team with a 2nd rounder lower than ours trade for Williams and then we give them our 2nd round pick for Williams?
They get a better pick for nothing and we get a #1 receiver for a 2nd round pick.

Pretty good idea, however, probably not likely to happen.
Its pretty hard to get a two way trade done these days, let alone 3 teams especially when you were trying to keep one team in the dark.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Seems like that 3 way trade only happens in the NBA, and it seems like the third team is just unloading payroll to someone.

I, agree its very unlikely they would trade him to us. But as eveyone saying him going to SF to reunite with Martz, I'm not so sure will happen. I recall half way through the season that Williams publicly stated disapproval of Martz and how he ran the offense.

I wouldn't consider this your tipical three way trade.
Basically Detroit gets a 2nd which it is rumored to be asking.
The other part of the trade would be already done if the team is willing to do the Williams trade.
One way trade with the Vikings waiting in the wings for the ink to dry.
Man, it would be another reason to laugh at Detroit though.
