I think Maroney is gonna surprise some people.. Everyone is saying he is a product of the system.. Watching him first hand I know he has the tools to be a good back.. Maybe even the top back in this years draft.. Well maybe not over Reggie.. But still someone who is overlooked and could be a very good and explosive player..

BTW does the combine start today? And do u have to have NFL network to watch?

He's the only player outside of the First Round who I am even aware of, but I think Greg Eslinger, the University of Minnesota Center, will shoot up Draft Boards before the event. He's only projected as a 4th-6th Round pick at the moment and he won the awards for best interior lineman and best Center in College Football!

I think it officially started yesterday, but they only did weigh-ins and measurements. I saw the big guys doing bench press this morning.

I think the coverage is only on NFL Network, but their website gives you some video, and highlights. www.nfl.com

If he is only projected to go in the 4th to 6th round, maybe we should take him with our magic 4th round pick this year...dude WILL come in with a HUGE chip on his shoulder if he thinks that he should have been chosen earlier (and probably earn one of the guard spots in the process)!

He won't go to the fourth round..

Most mocks i've seen have him slated at a late second round to 3rd round..

I want to take him in the second round..

Get Edge, Draft a LB in 1st, and Eslinger in the 2nd, Safety in the 3rd?

Just don't see all the hype about Lendale.. And Maroney is a local kid and I love the Gophs so that would be sweet to see him here and I do think he will be good..

Keep the faith in Maroney Vikez. He's a great running back and one of the few guys in the draft that can be featured as an every down guy. RB's just ain't as sexy in today's NFL as they used to be, unless you're a freak like Reggie Bush.
