Robison:Physically skilled, mentally obsessed
http://www.startribune.com/510/story/1165595.html
Once people see him play I really belive that people will realy like thi sguy. I really like him and Rufus as 2 of our second day picks. I think we have a
potential to see 2 D players that will make people wonder how they fell so far.

I like guys that work hard vs primadonnas.... think Chris Walsh who had tremendous unheralded impact whereever he was called on versus pseudo pretty boys like Hovan that couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
CountryGirl knows how awesome Walsh was, eh?!

I've been praising this guy since the start of the draft season.
I've known about him for a long time, since I'm a big track and field guy, and he's a great shot putter, and pretty good discus thrower, like it says in the article.
The guy is a phenomenal athlete, I'm pumped to have him on our team.

He sounds like an amazing athlete. I would love to see him pan out next year at end.. we would have to worry about Erasmus and his injury a lot less if he were able to get a good pass rush going along with Ray Edwards. Nice article.

Imagine what the guy can do devoting all his time to playing DE in the NFL. I don't understand how a guy like this slips to the third round, possibly injuries. He's another Brad Childress player and you gotta love it. His tape looked good and Udeze's not gonna get all the sanps in with this guy here.

I'm looking foward to the NEW pass rush. Last year we did not get pressure period, and our secondary got there balls busted for it. Smoot played poor but he's gone.He sounds like an amazing athlete. With Erasmus James back, Edwards with a year under his belt and Robison we should be getting pressure and that would make our defense really good if we can maintain the same play under our new Cordinator. Udeze better man up somebody might be taking his job.

Re: Robison:Physically skilled, mentally obsessed
Does anyone know (this is somewhat more of a empirical knowledge question than something that can be easily discovered in stats) how difficult is it for Defensive Ends to transition into the NFL?
I hear it's of course most difficult usually for QBs, and also rather difficult for Corner Backs.
What about Robison's chances of shining early?
Does it usually take a year, two, or can a guy settle in after training camp and pre-season?
Maybe Del Rio would know something on this.......
