Re: Robison on the Packers
He won't be a starter long especially if he plays like he did last night. My guess, Griff has the job by week 2 or 3 if he isn't the opening game starter.

Re: Robison on the Packers
Maybe Robison was asking for 16 and settled for 14, we don't know! He could have thought he was worth less and the Vikings overpaid him.

Robison didn't say he was going to go out and accomplish a personal goal and win the sack title this year. The Vikings have a better chance of beating the Packers twice this year than Edwards ever did at getting 18 sacks or whatever number he promised. Don't get me wrong, I am not anti-Edwards, he just had a continual problem with opening his mouth. I don't feel Robison is near the level of Edwards.

I have to say, I've always been more impressed with Robison than Edwards. Edwards may have been a better player, but Edwards always feel short of his predetermined individual goals, despite having the Williams Wall and Allen on the same line, taking up all the double coverages. At least Robison is focused on victories rather than individual accollades...
