Williams may very well be the BPA on the Vikes Board...still think BDE is the way to go in Rd 1.

The easiest way to do it is just to hit the quote button in the upper right of the post you want to quote.
The rest is taken care of for you.

interesting mock.. never really considered about OT in the first round. Maybe if we did get Marques Douglas ( see other thread regarding that ) then could it open the way to consider going OT first time up to the podium? Then look at DE in maybe the second round ?

I really feel we still need to address the WR position reasonably early in the draft.
I'm not sure if they got their eyes on anyone in particular, but I know there will be a bunch of quality WR's available in the 2nd and 3rd round.
I guess if the BPA on our board is the OT and he's there they should go for it, but if Harvey is there and we don't take him I will be pretty po'd.

Anyway my point is we still need to get another Young WR.
I would love love love and Early Doucet (as i've said a few times in different threads)
Had injury issues last year but it was the groin and i'm not too concerned about that lingering.
he's tough, quick and CATCHES THE BALL.
would be a great fit in between Berrian and Rice...looking to the future.

i think that is a sad looking mock draft
the player who i believe is the best player going 8 to baltimore? i doubt it
and i doubt we take a OT in the 1st unless something happens to come up wtih McKinnie

unfortunately we don't know what will happen with McKinnie and at the moment a suspension of some sort from the league could be a distinct possibility. So a OT in the 1st may yet happen.

It is not a pretty pick but it possibly fits into the BPA reasoning.
Draft him then move Mount to RT.

that has been discussed before and there are many who feel that although McKinnie might make a good RT we would then struggle to replace him with a solid LT. Personally I'm open to the idea but then again I've not always held McKinnie in the highest regard since the day he signed. Maybe it might make him buck his ideas up a bit which wouldn't be a bad thing.
