yup.....Another great signing!? Probably not. Are we really gonna go for any of the other "top notch" free agents?

    Re: Replacing Rice

We've got Rice's replacement on the roster right now, Joe freakin' Webb!! Time to stop dickin' around with the Joe QB bullcrap and use him at WR like the original plan was. The guy's got all the tools, size, speed and understands the offense. I'm guessin' we can find another 3rd string QB if we need one.The FA pool of WR currently available stinks, they all have major flaws in their game, like not being able to catch or being a freakin' lunatic or both, Joe Webb is the answer.
    None

except, you know, he was wildly sub-mediocre at WR in a crap conference in college, he was a far better QB than receiver.

Can you please add Braylon to the poll? He definitely gets my vote.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

This. Very incomplete poll imo. two of those I really don't think have a chance of happening (TO and Moss)

Yah not sure why Braylon and Floyd aren't on the list. I hope we dump Berrian and get them both.
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

Malcolm Floyd should be added as well. Although he would be my plan C, I think that's the guy we will end up with.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

So who went after Dnabb? Seriously, isn't that getting old?

    First,

    1. Why even put up Moss. He plays Berrians position. Why oh why would we have two cats on the field running deep. Didn't we see that that doesn't work last year?

Both Moss and Berrian can't fill the void left by Rice as neither one wants to work the middle.

We need someone who can take the pressure off of the 8 and 9 route and clear the underneath for Percy to work his magic. Shanc will help, so will Rudy, but we still need that big possesion kindof guy.

    2. V-Jax and Plax are the next two guys that can best fill that void. V-jax seems to be ready to sign his tender. That leaves Plax, who appears to be ready to run back to the Giants.

    3. The rest of the class......(in priority order I think)...

    Malcom Floyd is available.
    Mike Williams is available.
    Sims-walker is available.
    Legedu Naanee is available.

    4. On the roster.....(Looks like the team anticipated losing Rice as they've loaded up on big boys)

Devin Aromashodu - One good game does a playmaker not make.
Emmanuel Arceneaux - Interesting prospect with CFL experience, but again, nothing to set the bank on.
Freddie Brown - Has the size.
Stephen Burton - Has the size (6'1"/221) but is a bit short. Not sure of his leaping ability/body control.

My vote, go after Floy and hope that ARomashodu or Arceneaux can come through and give you some good reps this year.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
