I'm pretty sure an old thread raged on about the advantages and disadvantages of us signing Ashley Lelie. It's not going to happen; Childress is more intent on signing Philly's rejects and practice squad players.

Lol, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks we are becoming the Minnesota Eagles.

I don't think we're the only ones either mate. To be honest, I'm still struggling to justify the Baskett trade; I don't follow the "he already knows the system and what Childress expects" argument. Surely Childress is going to make more alterations to the system he had in Philly, and what's the point having 1 or 2 players (in Crockett's and Hicks's case) ahead the other players in terms of adapting to the coaching when the rest of the team, AND coaches are going to have to adjust anyway?

Eh.. If Crockett goes onto be a solid slot receiver I'll more than happily eat my hat.

(The fact I haven't worn a hat since I lived in the States notwithstanding).
