    Washed up?????? Hmmmmmm

2006 He ran for 1132 yards and played all 16 games.... Yep you're right
    all washed up.

He'd be no asset to the Vikes with the likes of Wendell Mathis, Joey
    Goodspeed, and other standouts.

Washed up defined if you must:

    - 16th in the league in total yrds rushing
    - 3.6 yrds per carry (tied for 24th in the league)
    - Ravens were run first, pass second team with J.Lew as the feature back.
In that situation, 1132 yrds in todays game is nothing special.
    - The guy can't catch the ball out of the backfield, doesn't exactly fit well into the WCO Childress runs.
    - History of numerous injuries.
    - On the downside of his career and looking for his final big payday, our cap space is $13MM this year ... It will not be blank check writing time like last year as we have other holes on this team to fill (DE who can get some pressure on the QB, WR -> numerous, TE that can stretch the field, RT -> unless M. Johnson decides to finally step up, etc., etc..)

    I.E.:
Washed up, doesn't fit the offensive scheme, wants too much money (there's a reason the Ravens released him, in hopes of signing him back cheaper), injury prone for the amount of $$ he wants ....
    Doesn't fit !!

Agreed, I don't think he is a fit for us. Can you verify the 13M cap? I have seen a lot of numbers (12.5M-32M) and can't seem to find a link to contracted salaries for 2007 so I can check.

    Too many injuries for me.

A guy can only survive so long being a power RB ala Priest Holmes.

Last number I have heard of as of last week.
Havn't heard of us cutting/adding anyone, so I'm running w\ it's the same.
It's fluid and sure to change drastically one way or another as of 12:00am est tomorrow evening.

I'll be very interested to see the number after our cuts. I saw an article a month or so ago that had our 2006 salary at about 82M that would leave 27M in cap but can't find it now so....Bad year to get in a bidding war anyway.

I don't want him...that being said, I think that he can still help some teams...probably the Jets or Browns.
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE
