Too early to rate the players, since I haven't seen them play yet. I gave the Vikings a B based on that because they were at least aggressive & signed some players at positions that had holes.

I thought they overpaid M-Will ($33 mil for 6 years) for his contract though. That is damn near the kind of money the Vikings spent on Smoot ($36 mill for 6 years).

And we all know how many people bitched that he was overpaid to play that position.

true singer, but that was also what like 4-5 years ago, and think about what gibril wilson got.
39million and a signing bonus of like 16 million i think i heard.
he is the 3rd highest paid safety in football now behind polamalu and bob sanders.
i dont know if most people would think of wilson in that same class.
so compared to that we got like a super bargain cuz apparently wilson was another guy we were lookin at.

What will safeties be making in 2010, if it's an uncapped year and Jerry Jones can pay anyone anything he wants?

The market dictates the terms.
Lots of $$$ out there now.
I applaud the Vikings for targetting Williams and getting it done in short order with no fuss or muss.
