I know the combine and Senior Bowl has yet to be played, but if I had to rank the QB's in this draft today.. this is my list.. thoughts or cut and paste off your spreadsheet.

I think Josh Johnson might continue to climb this board with some of the pre-draft stuff.

    Rank Name School
    1. Brian Brohm Louisville
    2. Matt Ryan Boston College
    3. Andre Woodson Kentucky
    4. Josh Johnson San Diego (Raw but has more talent than any of the QB's in this draft)
    5. Colt Brennan Hawaii
    6. Chad Henne Michigan
    7. Dennis Dixon Oregon (Knee Injury)
    8. Joe Flacco Delaware
    9.
    John David Booty Southern Califonia
    10.
    Erik Ainge Tennessee
    11. Matt Flynn Louisiana State
    12. Anthony Morelli Penn State
    I'd have it:

    1. Brohm
    2. Ryan
    3. Henne
    4. Booty
    5. Flacco
    6. Johnson
    7. Ainge
    8. Flynn
    9. Woodson
    10. Dixon
    11. Brennan
    12. Morelli

AND I would be very Happy with the Vikings drafting either Brohm, Ryan, Henne, Booty, Flacco, Johnson, Ainge, or Flynn.

Re: Ranking the QB's in this Draft..

    My QB Rankings:

    1. Matt Ryan (1st round)
    2. Erik Ainge (2nd)
    3. Joe Flacco (2nd)
    4. Kevin O'Connell (3rd)
    5. Andre Woodson (3rd)
    6. Brian Brohm (3rd)
    7. Chad Henne (4th)
    8. Josh Johnson (5th)
    9. John David Booty (5th)
    10. Dennis Dixon (6th)

EDIT: Here are some videos of my top 4 QBs.

    Matt Ryan
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=wV2qlINCLnc
    Erik Ainge
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=tRZJPikxVhk
    Joe Flacco http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZxW_RdJjtos
    Kevin O'Connell http://youtube.com/watch?v=R7Hem8WbjvI

Ryan is the only quarterback who I would be somewhat comfortable with starting in his first year, in my opinion he is the only top tier QB in this class. Ainge, Flacco and O'Connell are the only other quarterbacks I would draft as starters (after a year or two). The rest I would only draft as backups; I really like the big 6'6" QBs that have the leadership to take over a game.

Ryan, Ainge, Flacco and O'Connell are the only ones that have the true size, leadership and arm strength that I am looking for. I think that Woodson and Brohm are good, but I think they are vastly overrated, and in my opinion I don't think they will ever be true franchise quarterbacks. In my mind, this class is very deep at QB, but lacks any true top end talent.

I would love to see the Vikings draft Ainge/Flacco/O'Connell in the 3rd or 4th round as a third string project (behind Tarvaris and a veteran backup) to groom as a quality backup, or to come in a few years if Jackson doesn't work out.

Since everybody thinks Brennan sucks based on his team blowing in the bowl game, I would love to see the Vikings take a shot at him on day two.

How do you all know so much about draft prospects? I get alot of sports, but I have no idea about most of the first rounders, any one past that I have never heard of.

The Vikes should package TWill and their second rounder and move up to the mid to late first round and get him.
    Hines Ward Part II.

The Vikes own first rounder should be used on a pure pass rushing demon (like DE Calais Campbell (JR), Miami) or a shut down CB (CB Mike Jenkins, South Florida, CB Antoine Cason, Arizona, CB Malcolm Jenkins (Jr), Ohio State)...or maybe this guy (OT Sam Baker, USC).
All are rated in the middle to lower first round in terms of projected spots that they will go.
Doucet is rated just after those five players.
I'm all for getting rid of TWill but let's be honest.
NO team with any common sense is going to want Williamson....especially our 2nd and TWill for a 1st rounder....no way any team is going to do that.
I really wish they would.....but I don't see that happening.

Doucet got injured at the NS practice and some "experts" are thinking he may drop to the second round.

I think Ryan is the class of the QB's but QB's are always a crap shoot.

I don't think they need to go that high for a guy.
I am guessing they will take thier backup/future QB in rounds 5, 6, or 7.

For our offense, i'd be most comfortable with either Ainge, Brohm or Henne in that order... Henne and brohm are toss-ups...

but i'm not so sure about your rankings...

I don't agree that booty who is booty is better than Dixon.. nor do i agree with most of your order... obviously that's where you think they're gonna go and rank them so that's cool..... but clearly.. most of those QB's are probably gonna go higher just because of the pure need for a passer in the draft for teams like the bears and ravens for starters..
and No brennan in the top 10???? WOW

Yeah I know my opinion on them is way off from everyone else's but I look for different things that most people. And if I was in charge of a team's draft, I would go nowhere near
Brennan. In my opinion he is too small, and has done nothing to show any indication he will be even a mediocre pro. He played very weak competition, and played for a good team in an offensive system that made his stats look godly. When he actually played a decent defense in a game that mattered, he was absolutely horrible. In all honesty I can't fathom why so many people think so highly of him.

If you follow college football as much as some guys do it is easy to know the guys or at least hear of them.

I don't follow college ball so it is harder for me.
Best way to find out about them is to find a site on the internet that gives you things like:

    a. Top 100.
    b. Positional rankings
    c.
Scouting reports on players (should be at least the top 100)
    d. Value board.
(Shows what round they are ranked/rated to go in).

And then you gotta do alot of reading, discussing and such with jerks like me who believe one guy is of course better than your guy cause you either like his school (Watched him all the time) or saw him make a great play on youtube.
    ;D

I still remember the 7 guys names on here last year who scoffed at my mock cause I had the Vikes taking Rice over Jarrett.
    Funny PPO guys.
