Ranking the QB's in this Draft..
I know the combine and Senior Bowl has yet to be played, but if I had to rank the QB's in this draft today.. this is my list.. thoughts or cut and paste off your spreadsheet.

I think Josh Johnson might continue to climb this board with some of the pre-draft stuff.
Rank Name School
1. Brian Brohm Louisville
2. Matt Ryan Boston College
3. Andre Woodson Kentucky
4. Josh Johnson San Diego (Raw but has more talent than any of the QB's in this draft)
5. Colt Brennan Hawaii
6. Chad Henne Michigan
7. Dennis Dixon Oregon (Knee Injury)
8. Joe Flacco Delaware
9.
John David Booty Southern Califonia
10.
Erik Ainge Tennessee
11. Matt Flynn Louisiana State
12. Anthony Morelli Penn State

Re: Ranking the QB's in this Draft..
Thats not to far off what Mayock had them ranked last night on NFLN.
I have a couple of value boards I use but I can only link to one on here (I pay for the others).
They have them a bit different than yours.

This draft seems extremely deep at QB.... or am I wrong?

Re: Ranking the QB's in this Draft..
I'd drop 1 down to 3 and move 2 and 3 up a spot.
Personally Brohm may be a good QB, but i really think it's all the system they ran at Louisville that made him a big college name
Matt Ryan is the only one, and this is strictly my opinion, that is NFL ready and will be a success in 2 years. He has the accuracy, can put touch on the ball, and is just fantastic at the 10-15 yard out passes that seem to give so many QB's trouble.
Yes i have manlove for Ryan and i'm not ashamed to admit it.You can't be let down if you don't expect the world

I think it is a pretty deep class overall, but I think there are about 3 or 4 true Pro Bowl caliber QB's in this draft and then a bunch of potential or solid QB's. But yes.. if you need a QB this is a good draft to have that need. This draft seems extremely deep at QB.... or am I wrong?

Here is the thing that spooks me about Matty Ice.. he only did it for one year.. is that because the previous coaching staff was subpar or he didn't fit that system or is it the Jags fit the system to Matt? He is a talent and has all the tools.. we shall see.I'd drop 1 down to 3 and move 2 and 3 up a spot.

Woodson and Johnson, more so Johnson have the higher ceiling to me.. Watched some of Josh Johnson this season.. he has an arm and more importantly has accuracy and a feel for the game. The knocks on him are height and overall build.. he is a bean pole at 6'.. needs to add some mass to take some of the hits.
Brohm is the real deal IMO, yes he fell back some this season, but change in staff and more so the talent around him accounted for some of that. He has been consistent, has the size and tools, and plays smart.

I agree, let them fall to you in this draft.. after the first 2 or 3.. they all have warts.. if you find value late day one or early day two.. pull the trigger on a kid like Henne or Flacco if they are there."ThorSPL" wrote:

1.) Dennis Dixon... that's all that matters.
Matty Ice is overrated. He won't do much in the NFL, mark this thread if you don't believe me.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.
