We had a good start for the preseason. You always like to win the first ballgame, but I think the goal was to be able evaluate our players and we got some good tape to go back and learn from and that's what the preseason is all about, being able to evaluate the personnel and yet get your starters ready for the season. I think we are able to do that based on some of the things that happened in the game on Friday night....

Q: Is this any indication of Howard Green not coming along as well as you would have liked, plus he has been out of the league for a while?
A: No, he is doing some good things. It's just a matter of a guy who was out there who we thought could help our football team and give us quality depth. No slight against Howard; he is working hard and he is doing some good things and we expect him just to continue to improve. As you mentioned, he has been out of ball a little bit, so he is going to continue to work and get better.

Might also explain the need to take a risk on a large body in the middle to colapse the pocket.
