    Quinn to Bucs?

    http://www.sptimes.com/2007/02/26/Bucs/Will_Bucs_take_gamble.shtml

Hmmm that would really make the draft interesting. But after reading the article I could see how it would make sense for them to go after a QB. I know its still alot of Rumors and what ifs. But still interersting speculation none the less.

I can't see Gruden, who needs to win in 2007 to keep his job, hitching his wagon to a rookie QB.

If he's available at 7 and the Vikings don't draft him, then I'm definitely not sold on Childress.

Nah...if CJ is still at #4, the Bucs take him.
That is why we should trade up to #3...and WILF should make that call...not Childress!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

    Wait.

You WANT a meddling owner with fan-based football knowledge to make personnel decisions?
    Are you high?

    Posturing.
Nobody, especially Gruden, lets people know excatly what they are thinking before the draft.
OK, Tice used to, but he's someone else's problem now...

    Z,

I think he will have some sort of say in this, but the more I dig into this the more I don't think, ultimately, it will be his call but rather a group concensus within the triangle with even possibly Ziggy flipping the nickel if they can't come to an agreement.

I get the feeling that he is convinced he is set at QB but the rest of the staff might not agree.

Remembering of course his (Ziggy's) comments about how he was going to get more involved after the whole Foley fiasco.
Sure wish I could have been a fly on the wall to hear that whole discussion. :

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

I'm more sold on Quinn then I am on Russell.

If Gruden thinks his job can be saved with Simms or Gratowski, he's in for quite a surprise.
Because I'm a Vikings fan, they are that much sexier.

Quinn to Bucs would defiintely help out the Calvin Johnson situation for us. There is no one who would/should take him between the Bucs and us.

I would honestly rather have Wilf make the call if CJ is still on the board, or if we're in a position to move up and get him. He might not have the same football knowledge as Childress, but as we've heard Childress doesn't take WRs in the first round, and passing up on this guy would be completely wrong, so I say if it means Calvin Johnson or No Calvin Johnson let Zygi pull the trigger, but if CJ is off the board it's all Chilly.
