Still mystifies me why he hasn't landed someplace......I still think Garcia would be a wise choice.
but i read an article that said the reason he's not with a team yet is bc teams are waiting for the draft to fill out their rosters... he'll be a late signee somewhere before camp or after the draft when teams look at their rosters and re-assess..
they were saynig how FA is in waves with the top tier and then the next tier gong in the first few weeks, then it slows down for the draft, then after the draft teams reassess their rosters and then sign guys like a Garcia or Leftwich...
I was just going to post that idea as well.

Jay Cutler dreams fade quickly in the harsh light of reality - clearly, multiple people in the organization, not just Brad Childress, have serious reservations about what’s between the guy’s ears - but that doesn’t necessarily mean an end to the Vikings‘ efforts to add to their corps of signal callers.

If the Jets don't get Cuter, Freeman will be gone by 17.
My guess is that someone might even move up a bit to get him.
He sure has made the rounds and had alot of visists/private workouts. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

no i'm just telling you what i read... i believe a certain person on here was "discussing" with me about how old and broke up this guy is and even if he was in minnesota 3 years ago we prob wouldn't be any better off than we are now...
so i'm a little confused by this post.. it's contradictory or do you just like to play devils' advocate?

What is confusing you?
Have you seen me in any of these posts advocate getting him or not getting him?
Just cause I ask a question of someone doesn't mean I am now on that side or not on it........WOW.Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: Quarterback in the Vikings’ Sights
this has just been cruel to Vikings fans.
We get hope when the Vikes actually had talks about getting Cutler and now not only are we back where we came from, we get the face a strong armed QB that will likely tear apart our defensive secondary (not that it takes much).
And now there is word they may be interested in Josh Freeman?????
Please, please don't do this do us.
We need a smart QB with good athletic talent.
We tried Culpepper, we tried TJ, and now we may want Freeman?
What a waste of a pick.
Now I am nervous as heck that we will go after Vick.
I need some alka seltzer.
