He lacked adequate football skills. To bad for him. Had he had them I think he could have been a great player.

He was a stud wrestler in College. He dominated the nation his senior year at heavyweight. His build was wrong for an OL player as he was too thin at the waist and his center of gravity was too high. He could have potentially been an outstanding DE or OLB if he had the proper development.

Mick Foley is wayyyy tooo old to play pro football.

And Brock Lesnar tried that gig a couple years back with no success at all. And he's a monster.

The Rock played ball at FSU - he was an All-American, I believe. There have been others, as well. Steve McMichael comes to mind.

    Mick Foley sans Mr. Sock.

 I wonder if he's related to Fran Foley?

Brock got out of wrestling to try to spend more time with his daughter. Vikes offered to send him to NFLE, but he would be traveling again so he turned it down. His contract bars him from wrestling and fighting (UFC and the like). I think Brock could have been a great Special Teams and Pass Rush guy, fast and strong. Honestly I thought that Red would have sent him to the squad just to keep selling jerseys since he outsold more than a few probowlers that year.

Brock's contract with WWE forbids him from performing or signing with ANY other professional sports team or sports entertainment organization for 10 years. I think that particular term in his contract had a little something to do with him not sticking around the NFL. Besides the fact that he was incredibly raw and probably should have been playing OL like some other former college wrestlers have done; with success I might add. I think Kirk Lowdermilk was a college wrestler and he did pretty well in the NFL.

*EDIT* There are probably a few more guys out there that wrestled in college that I can't think of right now that play OL in the NFL.
completely untrue..he already played in 4 exhibition games with us last season..he just wasnt good enough
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.
